Poetry in Public utilizes window storefronts, and public messaging spaces (events boards), and telephone poles to broadcast poetry in public. Poetry in Public was launched in April 2020.
Locations include Shipwreck in Arcata, Northcoast Coop, Movewell, Dead Reckoning and the Arcata Playhouse. The Poems that are featured are those of Jaqueline Suskin, Eureka’s poet Laureate, David Holper, Mary Oliver, Ross Gay, and more. Are you interested in hosting a poem? Contact us!
